This year’s conference will highlight the role of local governments as well as intergovernmental collaboration in addressing community safety and wellbeing issues in communities, large and small. With topics that cover themes like the evolution of policing, communication tactics, indigenized community safety approaches, supports for small businesses, and supporting healthy neighbourhood development.

The Transforming Community Safety and Wellbeing Conference is honoured to be based on the homelands of the Lekwungen-speaking peoples of the Songhees Nation and Xwsepsum Nation, whose historical relationships with the land continue to this day.
